Operations Specialist, President - Lisa Ranken, P.Eng, M.Eng
Lisa knows what it means to be in the trenches. She has spent her career honing operations and leading teams in rapidly growing industries. Her expertise and success in new technology startups show that she is a master of solving complex business challenges. Most recently she led the commercialization of a patented extraction technology through acquisition and supported the successful advancement of the first-of-its-kind low carbon biofuel technology.
Lisa is experienced in all operational areas including human resources, process and workflow design, supply chain, compliance, finance and R&D. She’s driven to help businesses realize their vision, and knows what it takes to be successful.
Quality & Regulatory Specialist - Beatriz Ramos, B.Sc, PCQI
Beatriz is an expert in quality management systems, food safety, and regulatory compliance. She has successfully led early-stage businesses in developing, implementing, and managing quality programs from the ground up. She specializes in providing strategic advice, training, and hands-on support for clients seeking third-party certification. Beatriz is a PCQI certified regulatory professional with a B.Sc in Food Science from the University of British Columbia.
